My nephews are visiting for the weekend.  I picked up a T-Ball set the other day at Walmart, figuring it would be a good way to introduce Desi to Baseball, and it would be something Demarcus could do too since he can run after the ball and swing a bat, even if he doesn't actually hit it.  Got to start them young after all.  How else could he become the next Kirby Puckett?

So it sounds like yesterday was a disaster.  Not too surprising since the person in charge of cooking isn't very good but is convinced the only thing separating her from someone like Bobby Flay is he has a cooking show and she doesn't.  Didn't ask for help, refused to do some stuff for various reasons (none good and again refused to ask for help) and in general proved she doesn't know what she is doing.  Fortunately she isn't cooking anymore until after next week.

Pack A Day #80

I was telling the kids tonight that we only have 3 more weeks left of Kids Night, and that we will try to spend some time outside now that it is nicer (They asked if they could do game time outside tonight, but it is still kind of muddy out.) One kid asked how many more weeks of Sunday School (3 or 4) and if Kids Church was over then too.  I told her Kids Church keeps going and she seemed disappointed until I pointed out that she doesn't go to Kids Church anyways. (She thinks it's boring so she is 1 of 3 or 4 kids who would rather listen to Ron preach then go to Kids Church.)

Pack A Day #79

We found out Friday that we had gotten a contract to do meals for the local jail...Starting Saturday.  Usually for somethign like that we would have a couple weeks to figure everything out before we start, and it seems we needed it on the night crew.  Tonight was the first time someone other then myself was in charge of cooking and...if the boss lady and I hadn't been there it wouldn't have gone out in time.  But like I said, we are still figuring it out.  Same person is cooking Friday.  Hopefully it goes better.

Undertaker was in his first match on Raw in 3 years, teaming with his brother Kane and Kane's tag partner, Daniel Bryan against The Shield.  Bryan ended up getting pinned, but it was pretty cool to see Taker in action on a show other then Wrestlemania again.

When I got gas today, I figured I would get some Garbage Pail Kids cards, but unfortunately they were out.  I don't remember them being that low, but it has been a couple weeks since I was in there (Last time I got gas I was in a hurry and it was busy, so I paid at the pump.) Got some Football 2012 cards instead.  Then I went to Walmart after work planning on getting either some Heritage 2013 cards or (if they actually got any) WWE 2013.  Didn't have any of them so I picked up some more Topps Magic 2012 as well as some Garbage Pail Kids series 2 cards instead.

Reason I wanted to post it separably (Or at least a pic of another copy of the card) is because of all the Relics I have (13 total, counting this one.  the side bar counter is just the ones I've posted) it is the first that wasn't guaranteed!  All the others came in boxes that said "There is a relic in here."  Now I just need to pull my first autograph, which statistically should be in the box of Topps Magic 23012 that I picked up today

It's always interesting the few weeks after Wrestlemania.  Every company out there tries to be as interesting as possible.  Some people might be watching their shows for the first time, other might be watching again after not watching for a while.  WWE Usually uses this time to introduce new wrestlers or move people up on the card some how.  This year the theme seems to be title changes.  Last week we saw the WWE Heavyweight, World Heavyweight, Intercontinental Title (twice) TNA Tag Title, and ROH Championship change hand.  Who knows what this coming week will bring.

Took today off because I am running sound for a wedding at my church tomorrow   With the wedding I will be working for about 4 hours over the next two days.

YAY!! They got all the snow removed from Target Field so the Twins can take on the Mets!  BOO!!! The Mets beat us 16-5.  Who know they would be able to even play with temps in the mid 30s.

I was penciled in for some hours yesterday and I am glad I took them.  Because I didn't go in today Something about getting a bunch of wet heavy snow.  Not sure how much, but it was too much to get through.  Even with my dad's truck (The parking break is stuck on mine) Which has 4 wheel drive it was too much, plus plows weren't out.  Welcome to Minnesota in the spring.
