2009 Biography--Mark Teixeira
Supreme--Chipper Jones
Not a bad set. I like the design but I do have 2 problems. 1.) the foil makes the names really hard to read. This is a problem I have with most cards with foil names, but this time it is worse then usual. and 2.) since Upper Deck doesn't have the rights to use the team names, they just list the city (or state in Minnesota's case) which gets kind of confusing when you have New York or Chicago listed. You either have to remember which team they were on or figure it out from their uniform. Although they were able to use the team names n the back of one card for some reason.
On the bright side, I like the inserts. the Supreme card looks cool, and I like the idea of a sort of "Year In Review" set. I also like the idea of Ball Park cards, although I am surprised that they are part of the regular set and not an insert. I also like the fact that I got 2 Twins. J.J. Hardy is wearing a Brewers uniform on the card, but he is listed as Minnesota, and that is good enough for me :)
Tomorrow, Topps 2012 Football!
