Pack A Day #59

Happy Easter everybody! It's opening day of the Baseball Season!  well, for most people it is.  I don't consider the season to have started yet until the Twins start playing, which is tomarrow, when they will start the season off with a win against the Tigers.  So to celebrate I picked up a blaster of Opening Day 2013

On To The Cards!

Pack 1
Carlos Santana (Indians)
Matt Kemp (Dodgers)
Derek Jeter (Yankees)
Jon Lester (Red Sox)
Carl Crawford (Dodgers)
Miguel Cabrera (Tigers)
          Insert
Opening Day Stars--Matt Kemp

Couldn't resist posting these since I got 2 Matt Kemp cards in the same pack.

Pack 2
Cameron Maybin (Dodgers)
Ben Zobrist (Rays)
Allen Craig (Cardinals)
Brett Gardner (Yankees)
Jesus Montero (Mariners)
Evan Longoria (Rays)
          Insert
Mascot--Gapper (Reds)

I like the Mascot cards.  There should be more recognition for the men and women who put those costumes on in the middle of summer.

 Pack 3
Sergio Romo (Giants)
Shin-Soo Choo (Reds)
Bronson Arroyo (Reds)
Paul Goldschmidt (Diamond Backs)
Carlos Gonzalez (Rockies)
          Inserts
Blue Parallel--Elvis Andrus (Rangers) 1544 of 2013
Superstar Celebrations--Josh Reddick

One thing I don't like about Opening Day is that most of the pics seem to be from the main set.  But Not all of them.  Like this one of Shin-Soo Coo

Pack 4
Darwin Barney (Cubs)
Miguel Montero (Diamondbacks)
Jered Weaver (Angels)
Ervin Santana (Royals)
Tommy Hanson (Angels)
Marco Scutaro (Giants)
          Insert
Ballpark Fun--David Price

Pack 5
Max Scherzer (Tigers)
Buster Posey (Giants)
Jayson Werth (Nationals)
Ian Desmond (Nationals)
Coco Crisp (Athletics)
          Inserts
Play Hard--Matt Kemp
Opening Day Highlights--Felix Hernandez

I love how Coco Crisp is all like "WOOOOO! My name sounds like a breakfast cereal!" and Jason Werth is standing there like he is thinking "I don't need my name to sound like breakfast cereal to be cool."  and then there is another Matt Kemp card, simply because I could.
